Kitchenaid 5 Quart Artisan Stand Mixer-A Special Gift on Mother’s Day

Mother’s day is coming soon. We will be celebrating this special day on 8 May 2011. It will be on Sunday. It would be a good day for all mothers in the world. It is a worth celebration day.

For celebrating this special day, I would like to highly recommend you to choose something that might be useful to your mother. Something that mother needs it to make their things done efficiently. Since most of mothers love to cook and bake. So it would be nice that we could give our mother something for her kitchen.

I recently have bought a stand mixer for my mother as Mother’s day gift. I chose Kitchenaid 5 Quart Artisan Stand Mixer. I like this stand mixer very much. It is not only a good mixer and also a nice stuff to display in my mother’s kitchen.

Speaking of its features, this Kitchenaid KSM150PS has a powerful 325-watt motor with 10 speed, 5-quart stainless steel bowl. It has 3 main components : the flat beater, dough hook and wire whip.

The flat beater, dough hook, and the professional wire whip add to the versatility of the mixer. The flat beater is the ideal accessory for mixing normal to heavy batters. From cake mixes to firm cookie dough, the flat beater mixes quickly and thoroughly.

The dough hook mixes and kneads yeast dough, saving both time and the effort of hand-kneading. The wire whip incorporates the maximum amount of air in whipped mixtures for fluffier whipped cream and angel food cakes.

All attachments are solidly constructed, and attach easily to the stand mixer.

Optional attachments (sold separately)are also available to complete the package to make cooking a pleasure. From citrus juicer to sausage stuffer, KitchenAid stand mixers can handle just about any job in the kitchen.

Here are some HONEST REVIEWS from the real people that already purchase and use this Kitchenaid KSM150PS stand mixer.

Having grown up in Troy, OH, where the Kitchenaid mixer originated, this mixer has been a staple in our kitchen for as long as I can remember. It has NEVER failed to perform. I truly cannot imagine my kitchen ever being w/o this work horse. Everyone in our family owns a Kitchenaid mixer, many have received them as wedding gifts. A few times the mixer has outlasted the marriage! Our mixers even travel for the holidays. We have several mixers running @ our annual family Christmas cookie bake. Some are mixing cookie dough while others mix frosting or fondants. The only reason I am making this purchase is i’d like to upgrade to the Artisan caviar mixer. I’ve had my eye on this mixer for several years now while visiting the Kitchenaid store in Greenville, OH. If you ever have the opportunity to visit OH it is well worth the trip. However, you’ll most likely find a better price on Amazon.

My wonderful(but very old) Oster kitchen center recently met an untimely end (I nearly cried) and I really wasn’t sure what mixer to purchase as the Oster was the only one I’ve ever had. Because of all the hype and great things I’ve heard about kitchenaid mixers, I thought I would give it a try. And I absolutely love it.

I didn’t have to adjust the beater when I got it, but kitchenaid includes instructions for this in the manual (and other reviewers give instructions) if you find that the clearance between the bowl and the beater isn’t correct. I have found that it mixes very well and I love the power it has. I can’t comment on the dough hook as I don’t use it to make bread dough; but the whisk and beater are very nice. I really like how sturdy it is, but as many people have said, it is quite heavy!!

I’m considering buying the beater with the scrapers on the side as that I think might be even better than the one that kitchenaid provides; it can be rather hard to scrape the edges of the bowl without removing the bowl from the base. Also, I’ve considered purchasing the glass bowl cuz I rather like to see how things are mixing throughout the bowl as well as being able to throw the bowl in the microwave to melt ingredients, etc. My last mixer had a glass bowl so I guess I’m just used to it.

All in all I really do love it, its such an excellent addition to my kitchen.

Hope these reviews are helpful. If you think this is a must-have gift for your beloved mother or even for yourself, stop reading and take action now.

I really glad to know that I already bought this amazing machine. Before I buy it, I already done my homeworks to do some research and reviews. CLICK HERE to get the BEST DEALS on Kitchenaid 5 Quart Artisan Stand Mixer.
